Maggie Q has revealed that the theme of her new series "Nikita" is revenge.
The actress told the Los Angeles Times that the show will explore both Nikita's campaign against a sinister government agency and her personal issues.

"It's a classic revenge tale, but at the same time you're dealing with an incredibly flawed human being," she explained. "[That is] what makes Nikita interesting to me."

Q added that Nikita could begin to doubt her mission as the first season progressed. "There are going to be things that she believes in that she second guesses," she admitted. "That's going to be the colour in her journey, I think."

She also dismissed suggestions that the character's glamorous outfits were unsuitable for her role as a trained assassin. "Nikita's always on these missions, trying to take down this unit of the government, so it's not all glamorous," she argued. "But there are times when she is playing a role, and she gets to be a little bit more dressed up and more of a woman." - Digitalspy.co.uk
