EW.com has the latest Nikita scoop on Melinda Clarke's "Amanda" character:
Q: Would Love Some Nikita scoop.
A: Melinda Clarke tells me there “absolutely” are plans to explore Amanda’s (probably dark and twisty) past. The bad news? You might have to wait until season 2. “I think that there’s been tiny little moments of it, but the writers definitely have consciously not explored Amanda’s past too much,” Clarke says. “All of these things should and will be explored, assuming we’re fortunate enough to have future seasons.”

First of all, VERY NICE SITE. Thank you for doing this.

It's good to know that the cast thinks there will be a Season 2. We are all waiting to hear if we can continue enjoying this show next year.

Amanda's character is weird---very secretive and dark. She is a character that seems to be in control of what is before her. I like that the writers have implied that Amanda could be as powerful or if not more powerful than someone like Percy and has control of the fate of Division agents.
